Privacy Policy

Amplify Streaming is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Australian privacy law.

Last updated: March 2026

Amplify Streaming, a service of Cloud365 Australia Pty Limited (ABN available on request) ("Amplify Streaming", "we", "us"), is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information that is necessary to provide and manage our services. This includes:

  • Contact details — name, company or station name, phone number, and Telegram handle
  • Billing and payment information — sufficient to process invoices and payments via our Client Portal
  • Technical information — stream configuration details, encoder settings, and service preferences provided to us in the course of service delivery or on-boarding
  • Usage data — listener counts, connection logs and stream health data generated by your use of Amplify Streaming infrastructure
  • Communications — enquiries submitted via our contact form, support tickets and correspondence with our team

We do not collect email addresses for the purpose of unsolicited marketing. Enquiries via our website contact form are used solely to respond to your request.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provision, deliver and manage the services you have signed up for
  • Provide on-boarding assistance and technical support
  • Issue invoices and process payments
  • Send service-related communications including planned maintenance notices, stream health alerts (via Check My Stream) and material updates to our terms or policies
  • Respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form or Support Helpdesk
  • Monitor service performance and investigate reported issues

We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising, data broking or unsolicited marketing.

3. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service delivery — with Cloud365 Australia Pty Limited as the infrastructure operator, and with datacentre facility providers in Australia, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States, only to the extent necessary to deliver your services and under confidentiality obligations
  • Payment processing — with our payment gateway provider, solely for the purpose of processing transactions
  • Legal obligations — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order or a government authority
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, subject to the successor entity honouring the terms of this policy

We do not disclose personally identifying information for sales, marketing or statistical reporting purposes without your specific authorisation.

4. Data storage and location

Customer account and billing data is stored on Cloud365-owned and managed infrastructure. Your streaming infrastructure and uploaded audio content is stored in the datacentre region you select at the time of service setup (Australia, Japan, Singapore, United Kingdom or United States).

Data is not transferred to locations outside your chosen region without your explicit instruction, except where necessary for billing or support functions carried out by Amplify Streaming staff in Australia.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal, billing and audit obligations. Stream usage logs and listener statistics are retained for up to 12 months.

Upon termination of your account, personal data will be deleted or anonymised within 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law or you have an outstanding dispute or unpaid balance.

Audio files and content uploaded to the Amplify Control Panel will be retained for 30 days following account termination, after which they will be permanently deleted.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Our security practices include:

  • All Amplify Streaming and Cloud365 staff operate under signed confidentiality agreements
  • Access to customer data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis
  • Services are hosted in carrier-grade datacentres operated by Cloud365
  • The Amplify Control Panel and Client Portal are accessible only via HTTPS
  • Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and is not stored on Amplify Streaming infrastructure

While we take reasonable precautions, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials.

7. Cookies and website analytics

The Amplify Streaming website may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to individually identifiable persons.

You may disable cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use Amplify Streaming streaming services.

8. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and billing retention requirements
  • Complain about a breach of your privacy rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and no later than 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations.
