This policy sets out the permitted and prohibited uses of Amplify Streaming infrastructure and services.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all Amplify Streaming services and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using Amplify Streaming services, you agree to comply with this policy. Amplify Streaming is a service of Cloud365 Australia Pty Limited.
Amplify Streaming services are designed for lawful audio broadcast and streaming purposes, including internet radio stations, community broadcasters, corporate communications, podcast delivery, event streaming and related broadcast applications.
Services must be used in accordance with all applicable Australian and international laws, and in a manner consistent with responsible use of shared infrastructure.
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Amplify Streaming infrastructure:
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licences, permits and authorisations required to broadcast your content legally in the jurisdictions where your stream is received. This includes, but is not limited to, music broadcast licences from relevant collecting societies (such as PPCA and APRA AMCOS in Australia).
Amplify Streaming does not monitor the content of streams and is not responsible for ensuring your content is properly licensed. Amplify Streaming will cooperate with legitimate rights holder requests in accordance with applicable law.
While Amplify Streaming does not actively monitor stream content, we reserve the right to investigate and act on complaints. Content that is reported to us as illegal, harmful or in breach of this AUP may result in service suspension pending investigation.
We do not host or knowingly facilitate the streaming of content that incites violence, hatred or discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.
Your service allocation covers the listener count, storage and bandwidth specified in your plan. Usage significantly exceeding your plan allocation — particularly where it impacts other customers or our infrastructure — may result in service restrictions, automatic throttling or a request to upgrade your plan.
Automated or scripted connections designed to artificially inflate listener counts or otherwise manipulate usage metrics are not permitted.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Amplify Control Panel account credentials and any encoder or playout systems connected to Amplify Streaming infrastructure. You must not share your account credentials with unauthorised persons.
If you become aware of a security incident affecting your account or Amplify Streaming infrastructure, you must notify us promptly via the contact page.
Amplify Streaming may investigate any use of services that is suspected to breach this AUP. Where a violation is confirmed or where there is an immediate risk to other customers or infrastructure, we may:
Where practical and where the violation does not pose an immediate risk, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach before taking action.
To report a suspected violation of this AUP — including content that appears to be illegal, infringing or in breach of these terms — please contact us via the contact page. Include a description of the nature of the violation and any supporting information.
Amplify Streaming may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Client Portal. Continued use of services after the effective date of an updated AUP constitutes acceptance.
